Summer Bucket List: Update #1
The summer is half way over! Last month, I shared my summer bucket list with you all that summed up everything I wanted to do this summer. Check out my bucket list updates below!
Read and complete 3 books- So far I’ve completed 5 books this summer and currently reading 2!
Week-long vacay- Last month I spent a relaxing week at the beautiful Grand Palladium Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I was able to relax, relate, and release and spend much needed time with my family.
Road Trip to Jacksonville (or Charleston)
Try 3 new restaurants- So far I’ve tried two: Funky Brunch Cafe and Clubhouse One. I think I have the last spot in mind and hope to try it very soon!
Savannah Bananas (baseball) game: (The rest of the games this season are all sold out! :(. I’ll have to find an alternative).
Trip to local Farmer’s Market
Bike Ride downtown
Visit new art museum
Pay it forward
Try 3 new recipes- Over the course of the month I’ve made garlic parmesan wings, shrimp scampi, and homemade chicken philly cheesesteaks.
Spend 1 weekend in hometown- I spent the 4th of July holiday at home with my family. My stay was filled with family, food, and fun!
Shop a garage sale
1 self-care/unplugged day- After my Punta Cana trip, I took an extra two days off work to recuperate and it was amazing! I was able to get some reading done, do some shopping, SLEEP, watch movies, and do things that I enjoy. I maybe planning another one real soon.
Take myself on a date
As you can see I’ve made some progress but still have a long way to go! How’s your summer bucket list going? Let me know in the comments below!
